Mr. Cody James Bennett, 24, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Jonathan Eugene and Diana James Bennett. Cody loved being outdoors to go running and fishing. He also loved to cook.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are two sisters, Crystal and Suge Bennett; maternal grandparents, Lester and Yong James; paternal grandmother, Virginia Meece; and seven nieces and nephews, Josiah, Ashton, and Dakota Merck, and Sierra, Sophia, Sage, and Korbin Bennett.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
