Cody Michael Simmons, 21, of Belton, formerly of Inman, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at his home.
Born in Easley, Cody was employed with Regal Starlight Cinema in Anderson. Music was a huge part of his life. He enjoyed listening to all kinds of music and playing his guitar. He loved to collect old vinyl records and was an avid movie watcher and collector of every genre, horror being his favorite.
Surviving are his mother, Paula Bridges, of the home; his sister, Emily Simmons of the home; his grandmother, Dianne Heatherly; his great-grandmother, Marion Lee Jennings; aunts, Tina Hinson (Brian) and Brandy Heatherly; his cousin, Mattie Hinson; best friends, Noah Cagle and Kress Furr; and his beloved pets, Draco, Luna and Jinx.
Cody was predeceased by his grandfather, Tony Heatherly.
Private services will be held for the family in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
