Mrs. Connie Chastain Gaillard, 99, wife of the late William B. "Dub" Gaillard, Jr., passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017.
Born in Alto, Ga, a daughter of the late Julius M. and Pearl Lee Chapman Chastain, Mrs. Gaillard was a graduate of Easley High School and a member of Park Street Baptist Church since 1953.
Surviving are two daughters, Brenda G. Mullins and her husband, Jim, and Mary E. Gaillard, all of Pickens; three granddaughters and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Gaillard was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara L. Bennett and her husband, Donald; two brothers, Paul and Roy Chastain; and five sisters, Mabel Watson, Ethel Lesley, Arie Gaines, Grace Fields and Nellie McGuire.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Dr. Alton Nix officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM Thursday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the graveside service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Park Street Baptist Church, 114 Robinson Avenue, Easley, SC 29640.
