Connie Grimes, 63, of 124 Folkstone Court, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 8, 2010, at Baptist Easley Hospital. Her husband and daughter were by her side as she left this world and began her journey into the Kingdom of the Lord.
Born in South Bend, Indiana , Mrs. Grimes was a daughter of the late Laverne and Joan Bakelaar, MI. Mr & Mrs. Grimes moved to Easley, SC 5 years ago to be near their daughter and granddaughter.
Surviving are her husband of 16 years, Ross Grimes, of the home; daughter, Lisa Sue Walker; son, Todd Callow; and granddaughter Brittaney Wheeler.
Mrs. Grimes suffered for years from various health problems. The Lord found it fit to end her pain, gently take her hand and lead her home.
Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
