Connie McLane Michael, 78, wife of the late Marshall Michael, passed away Monday, October 26, 2026, at her home.

Born in Seneca, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jones Carris McLane and Mary Lou Ables McLane.

Mrs. Michael was a homemaker who provided care and steadiness in the daily rhythms of life. She also enjoyed watching vintage TV shows and reading a good book, simple pleasures that brought comfort and enjoyment over the years. Those quiet interests reflected a life marked by warmth, familiarity, and appreciation for the moments that make a home.

She is survived by her children, Chris Cooper (Karen) of Easley, Brett Cooper of Las Vegas, NV, and Amy Cooper of Westminster; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her brothers, Tim McLane and Keith McLane; and her sisters, Audrey Hall and Kay King.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a sister, Wilma Davis, and brothers, Frank William “Bill” McLane and Louis McLane.
