Connier "Bobby" Rae Nordan

Connier "Bobby" Rae Nordan, 65, of Travelers Rest, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025.

Born in Harnett County, NC, he was a son of Bobby and Patricia Parrish Nordan.

He was a deeply intelligent and well-educated man, holding multiple master's degrees and actively pursuing his doctorate. A committed Christian, he also shared his creativity and values through writing a children's book, derived from a bedtime story he made up for his children.

Connier was very health-conscious and a well-rounded athlete. He was also very empathic in nature and pursued joy in everyday life.

Connier is survived by his daughter, Lindsay Burroughs (Shannon) of Fairhope, AL; his son, Taylor Wesson (Kristin) of Fairhope, AL; his brother, Ronnie Nordan (Tammy) of Oxford, AL; and his grandchildren, Worth and Mabry Burroughs, and Vivian, Gemma, Stellan, and Lochlan Wesson. He was also survived by his special friend and companion, Daphne Heathers.

The family will host a private cryptside service at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
