Constance Hargate Wardlaw

Constance Irene Hargate Wardlaw, 92, widow of Raymond J. Wardlaw, died Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC.
Connie was born in Gastonia, NC, the daughter of the late William Henry and Della Elizabeth Spearman Hargate. She was a retired employee with Jacobs Chucks and had previously worked at Pratt Read Company in Central. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Judy Wardlaw (Jim) Bragg of Anderson and Phyllis Wardlaw Waters of Seneca; grandchildren, Phillip Waters and Stephanie Waters (Tanner) Murphy; and great grandchildren, Maddelyn Murphy and Calhoun Murphy.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Curtis Hargate, Glenn Hargate and Harold Hargate; and sister, Helen Warren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Central.
The family is at the home of her daughter, Judy Bragg, 912 Fairfield Dr. Anderson, SC 29621.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Rainey Hospice House, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
