Corrie Sue Kirk Youngblood, 90, of 103 Ellenburg Drive, wife of the late Thomas Elbert Youngblood, Sr., passed away Friday, July 19, 2013 at her home.

Born in Madison County, GA, a daughter of the late Simeon Gale and Lilla Mae McCarty Kirk, Mrs. Youngblood retired from Swril, Inc. and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church where she belonged to the Friendship Sunday School Class.

Surviving are a son, Tommy Youngblood, Jr., of Easley; two daughters, Sherry Bracken Krieg of Brunswick, GA and Debbie Day Horstmann (George) of North Port, FL; nine grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Youngblood was predeceased by two brothers, Benjamin D. Kirk and Donald H. Kirk and by four sisters, Fairy Belle Powell, Mary Ardelle Gilstrap, Barbara Lou Pearson and Avanelle Kirk.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Monday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Rodney Graham and Rev. Dr. Jim Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
