Cory James Payne, 23, of 203 Morning View Court, died Saturday April 6, 2013 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Cory was born in Greenville, the son of William Walter Payne, Jr. and Lisa Robertson Payne, of Easley. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University in 2011. He was an employee of Academy Sports and a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his parents are grandmothers, Martha Payne, of Piedmont and Kay Robertson, of Easley; and several special aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, William Walter Payne, Sr. and John "Toogie" Robertson.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at their home.
