Anthony Craig Owen, 38 of Easley, loving husband of Chanda Mize Owen, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2016.

Craig was born in Greenville, SC on October 20, 1977 to Tony and Sherri Owen of Easley. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1996 and worked as a maintenance supervisor for the SCDOT.

Craig was truly everyone's best friend. He never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. He loved his family, especially his son, and was a wonderful father and husband. His love for his racing family and racing in general was one that will not be forgotten. He would even help you tune up your own car to beat him in a race and would give you the shirt off of his back if you needed it.

In addition to his loving wife of 4 years and his parents, Craig is survived by his son; Jase William Owen of the home; his racing brothers; Jeremy Pearson, Jason Wade, Chris Cantrell, Heath Cowan, Will Harbin, and Michael Barbre; along with numerous extended family, friends, and racing family.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, August 5, 2016 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, 29642. Interment will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 4, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

The Family is at the residence.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
