Crayton E. Kelley

October 15, 1921 — November 11, 2007

Crayton Ernest Kelley, 86, widower of Virginia Newton Kelley, died Sunday, November 11, 2007 at Harvey's Nursing Home in Six Mile. He was a life-long resident of Pickens County and was the son of the late Frank and Ila Woodson Kelley. He was employed at Daniel High School for 20 years. He was a life-long member of Welcome Baptist Church.

He is survived by a son, Ernest M. Kelley of Central; brothers, Grady, Milton, and Dalton Kelley all of Central and Andrew Kelley of Liberty and a sister, Grace Kay of Easley. He was predeceased by brothers: Nathan, Tony, Marshal and Glen.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 3:30pm in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow at Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-3:30pm at the funeral home prior to the service. The family wishes to express their appreciation for the care given to their loved one by the staff of Harvey's Love & Care Nursing Home and by the staff of the Hospice of the Upstate.
