John Curtis Youngblood, 84, husband of Louise Sweet Youngblood, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson.
Mr. Youngblood was born in Pickens County, a son of Willie Judson (Judge) and Bertie Lee Henson Youngblood. He was retired from the Arial Plant of Alice Manufacturing Company, served in the Army National Guard and was a member of Arial Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are a son, Gary Youngblood and his wife Rhonda, of Easley, a daughter, Dee Dyches and her husband Chip of Pickens; two sisters, Linda Black and her husband, Roger, and Kay Brown and her husband Bobby of Easley; four grandchildren Bree Murrell, Kyle Youngblood, Kamryn and Charlesie Dyches; two great grandchildren, Trent and Connor Murrell.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Arial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:45 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Arial Baptist Church, 618 Rice Road, Easley, SC 29640 or Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
