Cynthia "Cyndy" Belcher, 65, of Easley, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital-Downtown.
Born in Cleveland, OH, she was raised in Jacksonville, Florida, and was the daughter of Mona Cox Leahy and the late Dr. Kenneth Leahy. She taught nursing at Clemson University and was a member of Easley First United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two daughters, Dr. Christy Belcher, and Colleen Alexander (Benjamin); one brother, Jeffrey Leahy (Donna); and two "furry children", dog Haley, and the cat Mr. Tiger Woods.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 5, 2012, at Easley First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. prior to the service at the church.
The family is at the home, 307 Asbury Circle, Easley SC 29640.
