Cynthia Elizabeth Sheriff Trammell, 85, of 306 McAlister Road, died Monday, March 9, 2009, at her home.
Born in Easley, Mrs. Trammell was a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Frances Lark Sheriff. A graduate of Easley High School, she was formerly employed with the White Horse Road Plant of J.P. Stevens and later worked for International Paper Company. She was a lifelong member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are are two sons, Joe Trammell and wife, Debra, of Easley, and Don Trammell of the home; a sister, Lettie Jane Brooks of Easley; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Trammell was predeceased by five brothers, Sam Lark Sheriff, Thomas A. Sheriff, Charles Sheriff, William Morgan Sheriff and Larry Sheriff; and by a sister, Johnnie Mae Gillespie.
Graveside funeral services will be 11:30 AM Wednesday at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Gwinn officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, S.C. 29621.
The family is at the residence.
