Dalton James Kelly, 82, husband of the late Frances Chapman Kelly, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Mountain View Assisted Living in Hendersonville, NC.
Mr. Kelly was born in Pickens County, a son of the late Frank and Ila Estelle Woodson Kelly. He was owner of Dalton Kelly Painting Contractors, was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, where he had served as a deacon. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his three daughters, Krystal Burgess (Mark) of Pickens, Penny Fine (Steve) of Charlotte, NC and Terry Hendrix (Jay)of Simpsonville; a brother, Grady Kelly of Central; 17 grandchildren and 14 great grand children.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by sons, Gary and Jerry Kelly; brothers, Marshall, Tony, Nathan, Milton, Crayton, Andrew, and Glen Kelly; and a sister Grace Kay.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Solid Rock Baptist in Liberty, with burial to follow at Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery, Central.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
