Robert Daniel Bradley, 74, of Belle Shoals Road, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2011.
Born July 4, 1937 in Marion, Illinois, Mr. Bradley was a son of the late William and Pearl Hopkins Bradley. He retired in 2004 at White Plains, Maryland from mechanical contracting, where the family lived for forty years. He was a member of Pickens First Baptist Church and the SC National Guard.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-one years, Martha Welborn Bradley, of the home; one son, Alan Bradley (Lisa) of White Plains, MD; two daughters, Beth Clifton (Frank) of Nanjemoy, MD and Melinda Waddell (Keith) of Easley; a brother, William C. Bradley of Fayetteville, PA; two sisters, Nadine Jack, of Waynesboro, TN and Louise Fisher of Marion, Illinois; and five grandchildren, Franklin and Anna Clifton, Jake and Luke Bradley, and Claire Waddell.
The Memorial Celebration of his life will be 11:00 AM Monday at Pickens First Baptist Church with the Reverends Fred Stone and Bryan Hester officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. A private committal service will be 10:00 AM Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
