Mr. Dane Simpson, 53 of Easley, loving husband of Tracee Stewart Simpson, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Baptist Easley Medical Center.

Dane was born in Easley on October 22, 1963 to Don L. Simpson of Easley and the late Patricia Marler Simpson. He graduated from Easley High School, and attended Clemson University. Dane loved sports, especially the Clemson Tigers, Atlanta Braves, and Carolina Panthers. He coached baseball and basketball, worked for BMW in the logistics division and was a member of Easley First United Methodist Church.

In addition to his loving wife and father, Dane is survived by a step-mother, Doris Jones Simpson of Easley; two sons; Davis Simpson (Fiancee Chandler Carver) of Greenville, and Trent Simpson of Easley; a sister-in-law; Betty Ellison (Eddie) of Greenville; a mother-in-law; Derilla Stewart of Easley; and his aunt, Eleanor McGuire of Walhalla. 

Memorial Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, November 11, 2016 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, 305 W. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640.

The family will receive friends following the service at the Funeral Home.
