Daniel Gene "Dan" Wayne, 61, of Sitton Hill Road, passed away Monday, August 21, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Moundsville, WV, he is the son of Jack and Dorothy Delbridge Wayne of Lyman.

Dan was a graduate of West Virginia University and was a Principal Engineer with Vulcan Materials in Greenville with 38 years of dedicated service. He loved his family and his animals, enjoyed fishing and working in his yard.

Surviving are his wife of the home, Patricia Hendrix Wayne; sons, Sidney Tyler Wayne (Rachel) of Easley and Shane Gantt of Easley; daughters, Casey Cunningham (Mike) of Piedmont, Angie Wilson (Regie) and Lyndsey Elliott (Kyle) of Lyman; grandchildren, Makayla and Brooklyn Cunningham and Evie and Elizabeth Wayne; his twin sister, Kathryn Jarjabka (Mike) of MN; a brother, Jeff Wayne of Piedmont; and his furry companions, Teddy, Dioggi, Leo and Molly.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Thursday from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM at the funeral home.
