Daniel Elrod

Daniel Ray Elrod, 44, of Easley, South Carolina, loving fiancé to Christine Boyko, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025.

As a loving father, Daniel embraced the joys and challenges of parenthood with open arms for his daughters, the late Madison Burger and Abigail Elrod, nurturing their dreams and aspirations while showering them with affection and guidance. His humor and kind spirit created a household filled with joy and laughter.

Before he began his career as an IT specialist in electronics, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army. His service shaped not only his character but also his capacity for empathy. Throughout his life, he reached out to help others, becoming a mentor to many who sought to overcome drug addiction, using his experiences to guide and uplift them. His ability to understand and connect with individuals facing challenges echoed the tender-hearted nature that defined him.

As we celebrate Daniel's life, a wonderful man who brightened the lives of many. His humor, compassion, and unwavering spirit will continue to inspire all who had the honor of knowing him.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Cynthia Elrod; his daughter, Abigail Elrod; his two sisters, Amber Cuddy and Brenda Meyer (Marc); his nieces and nephews, Hannah Cuddy (Levi), Sierra Cuddy, Rachel Meyer, and Lucas Meyer; and his aunt, Christa Prevette (Phillip).

Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Lanny Andrew Elrod, and his daughter Madison Burger.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a college fund for Daniel's daughter, Abby. Details on how to donate will be forthcoming.
