Daniel Alves McCranie, 78, of 2429 Farrs Bridge Road, died Monday, October 13, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Adel, GA, a son of the late John Wesley and Estelle Pafford McCranie, Mr. McCranie retired from the US Postal Service and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served with the US Air Force.
Surviving are his wife, Edna Finley McCranie of the home; two brothers, Charles McCranie and Richard McCranie both of Tifton, GA; and three sisters, Julia Arthur of Tifton, GA, Joyce Davis of Sparks, GA, and Jean May of Lenox, GA.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown and will be taken to Bowen-Donaldson Funeral Home in Tifton, GA, for serivces and burial.
