Mr. Daniel Luther Nalley Sr., 86, husband of Bernice Evatt Nalley, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014 at his home.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Luther David and Ola Mae Smith Nalley, Mr. Nalley retired from Smith Builders and formerly attended Easley First Wesleyan Church, then attended Potters Clay Fellowship until his sickness. In his free time he enjoyed gardening. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean War.
Surviving, in addition to his wife are a son, Daniel L. Nalley, Jr. (Pam) of Easley; two daughters, Vickie D. McDaniel (Len Moss) of Burlington, NC, and Valinda C. Roberts of the home; two brothers, Joseph Nalley (Eloise) of Easley, and Charles Nalley (Bobbie) of Shelby, NC. Mr. Nalley is also survived by two grandchildren; Joshua Nalley and Andrew Roberts
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers; George Nalley and Jimmy Nalley; and three sisters, Lillian Knight, Leila Price, and Elizabeth Patton.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ? Powdersville Road with the Rev. Lewis Edwards and Rev. Carlton Cleveland officiating. Interment will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 2:00 until 3:30 PM.
