Daniel Benjamin Nichols

Daniel Benjamin Nichols, 69, of Liberty, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022.

Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Carl and Ollie Collins Nichols.

Daniel could build anything and was a master at carpentry. He also loved to deer hunt and raise his chickens. He attended Flat Shoals Baptist Church.

Daniel is survived by a daughter, Shannon Hardenbrook (Samuel) of Liberty; sons, Shane Nichols (Amanda) and Chris Nichols (Sabrina Cox), both of Six Mile; sisters, Margaret Porter of Salem, and Carolyn Edens of Seneca; nine grandchildren, Justin Hardenbrook (Shelby Vidal), Daniel Nichols (Alisha Bolding), Adam Nichols (Stephanie DePaulis), Heaven Nichols (Charlie Kelley), Skyler Hardenbrook (Vivian Gambrell), Shea Nichols, Jacob Hardenbrook, and Patience and Madison McAlister; and seven great-grandchildren, Aralyn, Azalyn, and Danny Nichols, Laven Kelley, Raelyn Hardenbrook, Ava Herron, and Hennesee Wright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Gail Scruggs and Vicky Swafford; and brothers, Kenneth and Roger Nichols.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Mount Carmel Independent Baptist Church, 150 Flat Shoals Road, Salem, SC 29676.
