Daniel Edward Quattlebaum, 50, of Greer, SC, passed away on May 27th, 2023. He was born in Greenwood, MS, to Deborah Jane Quattlebaum Lake and the now late Jerry Dale Quattlebaum on November 21st, 1972.
Daniel's career path led him to work in sales at FSI, the Charlotte based office supply company, where he made an impression on colleagues and clients alike with his professionalism and dedication to his work. However, it was Daniel's benevolent and kind spirit outside of the office that will be most remembered by those who knew him.
Daniel was a selfless individual who often spent his extra time helping others. He demonstrated this through numerous acts of kindness such as donating school supplies and coats to school children at back-to-school time. Daniel's altruism towards children exemplified his commitment to supporting future generations and bettering the lives of those around him.
In addition to helping children, Daniel had a passion for fitness that allowed him to excel as a champion bodybuilder. He enjoyed training hard, pushing past his limits, and being an inspiration to others who wanted to achieve their own fitness goals. By actively helping other people reach their fitness aspirations, he demonstrated his drive and passion for making others feel accomplished and pushing himself beyond his own boundaries.
Beyond Daniel's professional achievements in sales and impressive physique as a bodybuilder, he was an individual who touched many hearts with his warm personality. His kindness was genuine and became contagious among those fortunate enough to cross paths with him. Many will fondly remember Daniel for the uplifting experience of encountering him.
The world has lost a wonderful soul in Daniel Quattlebaum. Through all aspects of his life: work, and hobbies he showed an admirable dedication that inspired admiration for many years. He leaves behind countless friends whose lives were forever transformed by knowing him.
Daniel is survived by his mother and his stepfather Deborah and William Lake of Loganville, GA as well as his siblings: Benson Quattlebaum (Rachel), of Simpsonville, SC; Peter Quattlebaum, of Taylors, SC; and Miriam Waters (Adam), of Gray Court, SC. His grandfather, Harlan Larsen as well as numerous nieces and nephews will also miss him dearly.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Dale Quattlebaum.
