Danny Joe Anders, 67, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018.

Born in Greenville County, a son to the late Joe Anders and the late Bonnie Kate Mahaffey Anders, Danny graduated from Easley High School, Class of 1968. He retired from the S.C. Highway Patrol and proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. Mr. Anders was a a licensed pilot and a cherished member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are Shelby Anders and sons, Jonathan Daniel Anders (Caroline) of Simpsonville and Michael Aaron Anders (Beth) of Anderson; a brother, Steve Anders (Michelle) of Easley; and grandchildren, Daniel and Davis Anders of Simpsonville; and Lauren Anders and Blake Anders of Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of Shelby Anders.
