Daniel Mitchell "Danny" Edwards, 56, of 214 Lula Drive, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 at his home.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Joseph Carroll and Frances Faye Cobb Edwards. He worked as an equipment manager for Childress Amusement in Easley and was a member of Bible Deliverance Temple in Marietta.
Surviving are four sisters, Jo Ann McCarter of Columbus, NC, Brenda Whitworth of Kings Mountain, NC, Betty Shelnutt of Powdersville, and April Edwards of Greenville; a brother, Steve Edwards of Kings Mountain, NC; and a very special friend, Bob Childress of Easley. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Carol Faye Harmon.
A memorial service will be 1:30 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with Pastors Harold Atkins, David Atkins, and Jeff White officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Deliverance Temple; PO Box 206; Marietta, SC 29661.
The family is at the home of his sister, Betty Shelnutt; 106 Melissa Court; Piedmont, SC 29673.
