Danny Kenneth Hensley

Danny Kenneth Hensley, 72, of Easley, S.C., passed away on June 12, 2023, at his home.  He was born in Greenville County and was the son of Margaret Goodlett Hensley and the late Jimmy D. Hensley of Easley.

Danny spent much of his career working at Stone’s Manufacturing until the company closed and he spent the remainder of his career working at Bill Black’s Electrical.  His hobbies included carpentry, electrical and auto-mechanic work, as well as his latest, rebuilding lawnmowers.  Danny was known to his family and friends as “Dano.”  He never met a stranger and was loved by all who knew him.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, having cookouts, watching NASCAR racing, and fishing.  He will be forever missed but never forgotten.  

In addition to his mother, Danny is survived by his son, Kevin Danny Hensley (Dee); his daughter, Brandy Hensley Hunter (Jeff); three brothers, Larry Hensley (Glenda), Rondeau Hensley, and Shane Hensley (Jamie); and one sister, Becky Clifton.  He is also survived by his six grandchildren: Kacie, Katelyn, Chase, Kaden, Brayden, and Austin, and one great-granddaughter, Kylie.  

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road.
