Danny Lee Huffman

Danny Lee Huffman (Bear), 68 born in Torrance, California, and recently moved to Easley, South Carolina was called home to heaven on May 23, 2022, surrounded by his loving family.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Janie Lee Huffman, and his Father, Hershel Leon Huffman.

Danny is survived by his wife of 42 years, Janet Huffman, son Justin, daughters and sons-in-law, Katie and Ray Campadonia, and Jessica and Jeff Fox, grandchildren, Janie, Janna, and Journie Fox, Brother and sister-in-law, David and Debbie Huffman, as well as his loving nieces, nephews, in-laws, and extended family.

Danny was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather (pop pop), brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend to all. Heaven gained the most amazing, funny, silly, sweet, kind, and loving angel.  He wasn't just an incredible man to his family, but also made a difference in every person's life that he met along the way.

Danny spent his career of over 30 years in the aerospace industry as a machinist. After retiring he enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.  He liked to go fishing with his buddies and loved jamming out to his favorite bands and tunes. He was a gun, knife, and tool enthusiast. He loved to be silly and make people laugh. He loved old sci-fi 'B' movies, and old movies of all sorts. He was a wealth of knowledge about old movies and 60s rock and roll. He was known for reciting lines from his favorite songs and movies. He was friendly and enjoyed learning people's names and treated everyone he met as his friend. In his later years, he really loved when children would think he was Santa Clause and would give a little wink when he noticed. Dan was a one of a kind man.

We are heartbroken and our lives have forever been changed. But we also know he has been freed from earthly suffering and has been reunited with all of his loved ones that went before him. We feel so very blessed to have had the time on earth with him as a husband, father, pop pop, and friend.

Danny will forever be in our hearts and memories.
