Danny F. McAlister, 51, of 302 Hamilton Lane, passed away, June 28, 2010, at his home.
Born in Anderson , the son of the late Hoyle and Elizabeth Fant McAlister. He was employed with Glen Raven Mills, was a member of Galilee Baptist Church and enjoyed hiking and camping.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Christine Lark McAlister of the home; a son Christopher Daniel Mcalister of Anderson and a step-son Lee Williams of Spartanburg. A daughter; Jennifer Henderson of Anderson. A brother; Larry McAlister of Central and two sisters; Deborah Powell and Joyce Mosley both of Liberty and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, July 1,2010 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with the Reverend Clyde Gravley,Jr., officiating. Burial will follow the service in Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
