Danny Lee Motes, loving husband to Ginger McCoy-Motes, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, May 30, 2018.
Born in Greenville, a son to the late Willie Lee Motes and the late Ruby Lawson Motes, he was a devoted father and grandfather who loved his family and was an avid classic car enthusiast. He was retired from Michelin after 30 years of service and was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Easley.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Travis Lee Motes (Angie) of Duncan and Austin Motes (Melissa) of Greenville; daughters, Tabitha Hardison (Cody) of Easley, Brandy Werner of Rock Hill, Kumiko Werner (Eddie) of Easley, and Kimberly Leubecker (Chris) of Greenville; a brother, Charles Motes of Greenville; and ten grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Mr. Motes was predeceased by a brother, Darrell Motes; and a sister, Jean Pritchett.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at The Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2018, at the funeral home.
