Danny Rabun Smith, 52, Central, SC, passed away peacefully, during a brief illness, on September 26, 2021.
He was born on May 10, 1969, the son of Blanch Hambrick Wertz and Jack Smith. He is survived by his 4 children, Heather and Melissa Smith of Central, SC, Andrew Ivester of Honea Path, SC and Amanda Bohannon of Seneca, SC, his brother and sister, William Smith and Becky Wood of Inman, SC and his longtime companion and ex-wife, Juanita Kelly Durham of Central, SC and 8 grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jack Smith and Blanch Wertz, and his sister, Judy Dozier.
Danny loved watching Smokey and the Bandit and Chucky movies, listening to bluegrass music and spending time with his girls.
A private family only viewing will be held.
