David Wayne Bayliff, 75, of Easley, SC joined all of Heaven on July 7, 2021. David was a native of Aberdeen, NC and the son of the late William "June" Bayliff and Thelma Mays Bayliff. He was the husband of the late Pamela Marie Bayliff, brother to the late Patricia Thomasson and Elizabeth Merrill, and "Paw Paw" to predeceased, Monroe Bayliff.
He was the husband of Teri Bayliff of the home. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one sister, Kathryn and Scott Guttierrez of Jackson Springs, NC; six children; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Paula Bayliff of Gray Court, Bryan and Brandi Stone of Easley, SC, Dave and Adrienne Stone of Easley, SC, and Matthew and Megan Bayliff of Boiling Springs, SC; daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Pete Walker of Mauldin, SC, and Patricia and Charlie Robinson of Fountain Inn, SC; one step-daughter Courtney of Winston-Salem, NC.; Grandchildren, William, Camryn, Sawyer, Maisie, Dawson, Mattie, Mollie, Merritt, Austin, Gage, Hayden, Melissa, Greg, Patrick and Cpl. Joseph Sapp II United States Army; Great grandchildren, Aiden, Raylynn, Mason, Sierra Jo, Raylan and Maverick; and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Bayliff was a believer of Jesus Christ and dedicated his life to following Him. He was a retired fork lift technician/service manager from Barloworld Handling of 38 years (formerly Wrenn Brothers) and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. He took pride in being a devoted and dedicated father and delighted in spending time with his family. On the weekends, you would often find him doing mechanic work in his home garage and lending a helping hand to those in need. For many years, he volunteered as a shuttle bus driver for church on Sunday mornings and looked forward to the annual Easter, "Sunrise Service". He loved making memories on the golf course, collecting cards, watching Nascar and cheering on the Gamecocks. He was gifted with a humble and kind spirit, and possessed a fun-loving sense of humor. He filled many roles in life to those he loved, but his greatest and most treasured one was being called, "Paw Paw" by his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:00 – 11:45 AM Saturday, July 10, 2021. A celebration of David's life will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Rock Springs Baptist Church, with interment following at the church cemetery. Dr. David Gallamore will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Scott Galloway, Bob Green, Charlie Merrill, Greg Richardson, Pete Walker and Jack Ward.
