David "Ed" Braswell, 85, husband of Sarah Sanders Braswell, passed away November 07, 2012 at The Haven in Greenville.
Born in Caldwell County, NC he was the son of the late Willie and Maude Setzer Braswell. He was a retired electrician and a member of Siloam Baptist Church. Mr. Braswell was a Navy veteran having served in WWII.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Steven Braswell (Catherine), a daughter Deborah Fitzgerald; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren and seven step, great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his first wife, Muril Clark Braswell, three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 9, 2012, at Siloam Baptist Church. A private burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 AM Friday, prior to the service, at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 10794, Greenville, SC 29603.
