David L. Crocker

David Lee Crocker, 74, of Easley, passed away Friday, November 20, 2009, at Regency Hospital in Greenville.
Born in Anderson, Mr. Crocker was the son of the late Arthur Crocker and Sudie Yeargin Crocker Mann. He was in the trucking industry for over fifty years and was founder and former CEO of AM-Can Transport Service, Inc. Mr. Crocker was a member of First Baptist Church, and he was a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Dorothy Watson Crocker; two sons, Stephen D. Crocker (Paige), and Kevin W. Crocker (Penny) all of Easley; two daughters, Karen C. Lance (Stan), of Piedmont, and Carol C. Tinsley (Bobby), of Easley; seven grandchildren, Dana Proctor (Steed), Lee Lance (Kristin), Nate Tinsley, Jake Tinsley, Clay Crocker, C.J. Crocker, and Clara Jane Crocker; and three great-grandchildren, Hanna Beth, Henry, and Madison. Mr. Crocker was predeceased by his sister, Elizabeth Crocker Creamer.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road, with the Reverend Dr. John Adams officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
