Mr. David Edward Dickard, 60, of 101 Hallmark Circle, Easley, loving husband of Elizabeth Slate "Liz" Dickard, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016 at his residence.

David was born in Easley, SC on April 3, 1956 to Nettie Pearl Brown Dickard of Easley and the late Charles Dickard. He worked for POSTEC for over 15 years, and he was an avid NASCAR and Clemson Tigers Fan. David was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley where he was in the Pastor's Sunday School Class.

In addition to his loving wife and his mother, David is survived by two sons; David Russell Dickard (Amanda); and Bradley Charles Dickard, both of Easley; a daughter Kathy Lynn Dickard Hightower (John) of Seneca; a brother; Charles Dickard of Easley; and four grandchildren; Alaina Grace Dickard, Emsley Marie Dickard, Katie Jane Hightower, and Johanna Kaylee Hightower.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Rock Springs Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Dr. David Gallamore and the Rev. Dr. Wayne Dickard. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, 305 W. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640.

The family is at the residence.
