January 20, 1957 — June 13, 2026

Easley, SC

David “Bryan” Gossett, born January 20, 1957, passed away unexpectedly following an accident on June 13, 2026.

Bryan was a lifelong resident of the Dacusville community in Easley, South Carolina, a place he loved and where he was known by generations of friends, neighbors, and family. He was a graduate of Pickens High School, Class of 1975, where he played football and developed a lifelong love of sports.

Bryan worked at Saco-Lowell Manufacturing in Easley and later retired as maintenance manager for Rich’s Department Store in Greenville.

Bryan loved God, loved his family, and loved sharing stories, especially stories about “Pop,” his grandfather, whom he considered an absolute hero. He had a gift for making people feel at ease. Whether sharing a story, a joke, or a word of encouragement, he brought warmth and laughter wherever he went.

His children and grandchildren were his greatest loves, and he was deeply proud of each of them. Surviving are his son, Bryan Gossett, Jr. of Easley; his daughter, Shaunda (Josh) Menke of North Carolina; his beloved grandsons, Grayson Menke and Garrett Menke; his sister, Kathy (Mike) Constance of Easley; and his nephews, Robby Raines and Jason (Lindsey) Constance.

Bryan was preceded in death by his parents, David Ramsey Gossett and Louise Looper Gossett.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorial donations to Upstate Warriors Solution ( https://upstatewarriorsolution.org/)

Those who knew Bryan will remember his smile, his stories, his unwavering love for family, his faith in God, and his ability to find joy in life’s simple moments. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
