David W. Haney, 72, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024.
Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Elmer M Haney and Clarice Belt Haney. David worked as a Maintenance Tech at Ethox Chemical for 15 years. David was also known for his kindness and selflessness. He would work the holidays so his co-workers could spend time with their families. He was a very hard worker and loved working on cars. There was not a time you did not see him with a cup of black coffee in his hand and watching a western movie. Above all, he loved his family.
David is survived by his two sons, Charles Roe (Misty), and Paul "Bucky" Haney; Daughter Kristy Bell (Nick); a stepbrother, Dennis Couch; two sisters, Faye Moon and Sandra Spearman; grandchildren, Timmy, Kayla, Branden, Karlie and a Grand dog Savannah; great-grandchildren, Madi, Camber, Mindy and Koleson. And his True Love Brenda Norris.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother; Gordon “Mickey” Haney; a sister Sam Grove, and a grandchild Danielle.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at the Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road Chapel, 1425 Powdersville Road Easley, South Carolina 29642.
