David Eugene Hawkins, 64, of 411 Quarry Road, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his home.
Born in Pickens County, a son of Grace Stewart Hawkins of Liberty and the late Guy Hawkins, David was employed with Vulcan Materials and of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife, Kathy Hughes Hawkins of the home; a daughter, Kim Hawkins Rhodes of Liberty; two grandchildren, Grant and Addison Rhodes; his father-in-law, Carl W. Hughes of Liberty; and a brother, Billy Hawkins of Liberty.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
