David Horace Jones, Jr., 74, of 310 Raven Cliff Road, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at his home.
Born in Lakeland, FL, the son of the late David Horace Jones, Sr. and the late Genevieve Burnette Newman, Mr. Jones retired as a superintendent with Farmland Hydro in Bartow, Fl, after thirty-three years of service and had served in the 82nd Air Borne with the US Army. He was a member of Life Church in Dacusville.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene Sheridan Jones of the home; a son, Kevin David Jones (Aimee) of Lakeland, FL; a daughter, Karen Kochenburger (Jim) of Altamonte Springs, FL; a sister, Sherri Morgan of Bartow, FL; and seven grandchildren.
Mr. Jones is being sent to Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside in Lakeland, Florida where services and burial will take place.
