David Edrew Kelley

July 11, 1935 — February 18, 2015

Mr. David Edrew Kelley, 79, of 125 Mary Jane Drive, Easley, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Kelley was born in Pickens County on July 11, 1935 to the late Paul W. and Clara Lee Holder Kelley. He retired from Mayfair Mills in Pickens as a Weaver. He loved to go to auctions, farming, and the jockey lot in Pickens. He was an avid horse trader and enjoyed going to Holders Auction.

David is survived by two sons; Ronnie Kelley of Pickens, and Danny Wayne Kelley of Easley; a daughter, Peggy Townsend (Billy Jack Galloway), of Easley; four brothers; Richard Kelley of York, Fred Kelley (Clara), of Liberty, James Kelley of Seneca, and Marvin Kelley of Seneca; and three sisters; Ruby Todd (James) of Liberty; Judy Collins of Traveler's Rest; and Marie Todd of Pickens. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; Jessica Townsend (Janer Cabrera), Travis Townsend, Joey Townsend, Greg Townsend, Madalyn Townsend, Alisha Thetford, Josh Hester, M.J. Kelley, and Tracy Jackson (Jack); and fifteen great ? grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son; David Earl Kelley; a daughter, Mary Jane Hester; a son-in-law; Mark Hester; eight brothers, and one sister.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 23, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ? Downtown with the Rev. Clyde Gravely, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from Noon until 1:45 PM at the Funeral Home.

The family is at the residence.
