David Edward Kreitz, 82, of Seneca passed away, Sunday, July 19, 2020 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
David was born in Montevue, Maryland, a son of the late Lewis and Louella (née Stonesifer) Kreitz. He was a retired carpenter and a veteran of the US Army.
Surviving are his daughter, Amanda Brown and husband, Joshua of Dickinson, TX; brothers, James A. Kreitz of Seneca, Lewis Kreitz, Jr. and Michael Kreitz both of Thurmont, MD; sisters, Rebecca Flohr and Mary Miller both of Thurmont, MD; and two grandchildren, Dina and Alexander Segovia. He is also survived by his beloved niece and caregiver, Sandra Smith of Seneca.
David loved fishing and NASCAR. He could be found on the lake with a rod in his hand or on the couch cussing at race. He spent a lifetime traveling around the world, and ladies!, before settling in Seneca to spend his final years. He enjoyed taking care of his brother and baking him weekly cakes and pies. He will be missed by many.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
