David R. Lever, Sr., 56, passed away on May 1, 2009. Born December 26, 1952 in Greenville, South Carolina. Memorial Service:10 am, Tuesday, May 5th at First United Methodist Church of Coppell, 420 S Heartz Rd. David was a kind and generous man who was honored and respected by all who knew him. He deeply valued and cherished the relationships he had with his family, friends and Nissan colleagues. David was a member of First United Methodist Church of Coppell and a devoted employee of Nissan North America for 24 years. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and there waits for me the crown of glory: 1 Timothy 4:6-7
He was preceded in death by his brother James Lever and his parents, James and Margaret Lever. Survivors: Wife of 34 years, Gayle Goodman Lever; sons, David Reese Lever, Jr. and his wife Sarah, Robert Myers Lever and his wife Karen; daughter, Casey Ann Lever; brother, Charles M. Lever; sister, Sally L. Davitt.
Graveside services will be held 10am Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Memory Gardens in Clemson, S.C.
