David Edward Powell, Jr., 21, of 1425 Simms School Road, died Wednesday, June 4, 2008.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of David Edward Powell, Sr. and Deborah McAlister Powell. He attended First Wesleyan Church in Central.
Surviving in addition to his parents are two sisters, Barbara Ann Chapman of Liberty, Wendy Michelle Powell of Woodruff; and paternal grandparents, Lois Christine Powell of Liberty and Charles Powell of Easley.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be Saturday night from 6 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
