David Eugene Rodrigues, 88, husband of Geneieve "Joan" Rodrigues, passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. 

Born on May 1, 1934, in Brockton, Massachusetts, he was a son of the late Ambrose G. and Edith M. Alexander Rodrigues. David attended Zion Bible Institute where he received his ministerial diploma, and then received his Bachelors in Christian Education from Southeastern University in 1998. David was extremely loving and enjoyed having visitors at his home. He enjoyed gardening, worshiping, singing, and playing the piano and organ. He loved being active in his church, where he was always serving and volunteering, but most of all he adored his family. David was also an active and passionate member of Gideon’s International.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by his brother John G. Rodrigues (Jean) of Cape Coral, FL; his sisters-in-law, Josephine Rodrigues of Taunton, MA, and Shirley Rodrigues of Warren, RI; and many loving nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his brothers Reverend Peter, Walter, and Reverend Paul Rodrigues (Agnes).

The family will receive friends Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made at any branch of TD Bank to the Home of Hope Center account, address 105 Taxiway Ave. Easley, SC.
