Mr. David Redmond Rowland, 70, husband of Rena Kay Trotter Rowland, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his home.

Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Redmond Alexander Rowland, Jr. and the late Geneva Stansell Rowland, Mr. Rowland retired from Alice Manufacturing and was a member of Slabtown Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of sixteen years, are a son, Christopher Rowland (Alix Stokes)of Easley; a step-son, Tommy Gregory (Tammy) of Easley; a step-daughter, Sherri Kelley of Liberty; a brother, James E. Rowland (Joyce) of Easley; a sister, Wanda Faye Tate (Rev. George Tate) of Easley; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 27, 2017 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1:30 PM Monday, March 27, 2017 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, prior to the service.

The family is at the home.
