Hansell "David" Summerall, 24, of 102 McCoy Street, died Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Greenville County, a son of James and Windy Hostetler Summerall of Greenville, David was a member of West End Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his grandparents, with whom he made his home, Wayne and Edith Durham of Easley; two brothers, Tony Summerall and his wife, Carla, of Travelers Rest, and Jake Summerall of Greer; his paternal grandmother, Eunice Summerall of Liberty; an aunt, Debra Webb; two uncles, Bobby and Andy Durham; and two nephews, Jaxx Summerall and Andrew Durham.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday at West End Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jack Connelly and Rev. Jonathon Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The body is at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the David Summerall Fund, c/o Robinson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 387, Easley, SC 29641.
The family is at the home of an uncle and aunt, Carl and Kathy Burrell, 204 McCoy Street, Easley, SC 29640.
