Mr. David Lewis Tompkins, 62, husband of Debbie Crowe Tompkins, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, September 27, 2018.

Born in Greenville County, the son of Mary Elizabeth Sisk Tompkins of Easley and the late Billy Gene Tompkins, Mr. Tompkins was a 1974 graduate of Easley High School and an inspector with BMW Manufacturing. He was a member of Potter's Clay Fellowship where he served as church treasurer.

David loved fishing, golfing, dove hunting and Clemson football, but most of all he loved his family.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of forty years, are a son, Dustin Tompkins (Kaitlin) of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Dawn Tompkins Miller (Jeremy) of Liberty; three sisters, Sherry Booth, Lori LaBrash (Paul), all of Easley, and Joni Harrison (Daryl) of Pickens; and three grandchildren, Haley Miller, Natalie Miller and Luca Tompkins. In addition to his father, Mr. Tompkins was predeceased by a sister, Robin Tompkins.

Funeral services will be 2:30 PM Sunday, September 30, 2018 at Potter's Clay Fellowship, 142 Grace Drive, Easley, SC 29640. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 2:15 PM Sunday at the church, prior to the service.

The family is at the home.
