David “Dave” Frank Walker, 75, of Easley, SC, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. Born in Dayton, OH, he was the son of the late William Frank and Evelyn Alice Walker. Dave was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church, Easley, SC. He retired in 2014 from Tri-County Technical College after 28 years as an Instructor and Department Head in the Machine Tool/CNC division. Prior to that, he worked as a machinist at Avco Lycoming, K & M Tool and Dye, and General Motors, and was a teacher at Tabernacle Christian School, Bradford, OH.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his first wife, Wendy Walker, and his sister, Theresa Parramoure.
He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Rosencrans (Dean) and Michael Walker (Marie); sisters, Saundra Barry (Joe) and Jolene Graham (Ed), and four beloved granddaughters, Leah and Bethany Rosencrans, and Amber and Eisley Walker.
Dave was a lifelong learner with a keen interest in politics and sports. A devoted “Grandpa”, he faithfully attended games and school activities. Let all who knew and loved him celebrate a modest and humble man who will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel.
