Davina Matthews Bowles, 81, of Easley, wife of Darrell Thomas Bowles, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at McCall Hospice House.
Born September 27, 1931 in Richmond Parish, England, she was the daughter of Capt. David and Margaret Matthews. She was a retired hotel manger in Las Vegas and for several years volunteered at Baptist Easley Hospital in the gift shop.
In addition to her husband of fifty four years, she is survived by her daughter, Darcy Wood (Eric); step-daughter, Linda Russell (Frank); granddaughter, Kelli Daccardi; and step-granddaughter, Alyssa Wood.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 23, 2013 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Homes-Powdersville Road with Rev. Chuck Traylor officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
