Carolyn Dayle Boggs Ligon, 73, of 124 Tuscarora Loop, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Clemson, the daughter of the late Herman Norman and Carolyn Elrod Boggs, Mrs. Ligon attended Clemson University, USC Nursing School and graduated from Anderson College. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, a Christian and she loved the mountains.
Surviving are three sons, Mark T. Ligon and John D. Ligon, both of the home, and David T. Ligon of Townville; a brother, Don Boggs of Greenwood; and a granddaughter, Brooke Elizabeth Ligon.
Memorial services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross of Upstate SC, P.O. Box 1303, Pickens, SC 29671; or the charity of one's choice.
