Dean Etheridge Cauthen, 82, of 556 Kay Drive, died Sunday, September 2, 2007, at Falls Creek Living Center.
Born in Poplar Bluff, MO, a daughter of the late Ed and Nellie Keele Etheridge, Mrs. Cauthen retired from Oakmont Nursing Center in Greenville and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church of Lancaster.
Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Rex and Elaine Cauthen and Mike and Penny Cauthen all of Easley, and Hart and Connie Cauthen of Marietta; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Danny Hawkins of Easley; a half-sister, Carolyn Bruce of Qulin, MO; a step-sister, Carman Pennington of Poplar Bluff, Mo; four grandchildren, Brine Hawkins and his wife, Beverly, of Easley, Teresa Daniel and her husband, Bill of Clemson; Mandy Roberts and her husband, Scott, of Travelers Rest, and Hart Kent Cauthen and his wife, Jennifer, of Poplar Bluff, MO.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Archie Sharpe officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesdsay at the funerel home, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to the Activity Fund of Falls Creek Living Center, 2906 Greer Highway, Marietta, SC 29661.
The family is at the home of Nancy and Danny Hawkins, 204 Dana Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
